When's the Next Time

I have a sinking feeling I'll be performing a limitbreak for work later. That nanonap earlier really shouldn't have happened, plus the coffee. What was I thinking, frak.

The last few days of oversnoozing might have contributed too. I just can't force my eyes close today, might as well put it to a good use and catch the New Moon movie. I'm really hating that I couldn't find a schedule swap today, even with a P200 incentive for the willing swapper. It's bad enough that I'm on a consecutive no show to the troop meetings, I can't even go to the troop outing and be useful. Work's really not scoring any points with me right now.

What a hoot if I fell asleep during a call later. Took me two years before it happened in Convergys, wonder how long the next time would be here.

Karma

Karma is fast. TOO FAST.

Yesterday, I did something bad.

Today, I got terribly sick. I was meant to pack my luggage but I just couldn't. Gah I feel really really sick it's depressing me. toothache.gif

On a good note though, my Moleskine for next year just came in the mail today! Thank heavens for things like Amazon to make things cheaper for scrooges like me.

OT on Weekends

New house, new schedule, new lifestyle. All of the above is playing havoc on my sleeping pattern. I'm currently averaging 8 hours of sleep a day, which is a disgraceful waste. And last night I was out for 12 hours, which also happened last week. I'd like to say it's because I'm sick, but I can't even fool myself even for a minute.

Here's something funny, workforce is asking for mandatory overtime from everyone. Yeah, as if they can compel anyone to render ot if they didn't want to. But the TL asked us nicely, and that's that. Only for a couple of hours though. I honestly don't intend to give more than 5 hours anyway. Some of the guys decided to give the full 7 hours workforce asked for during their offs, not me though. You couldn't pay me enough to go to work on an off. I've decided on the 30 minutes a day routine.

It's not enough they ruin your life and give you weekday offs, but now they want you to come in still? Not having any of that, go screw yourselves. I really gotta find a new job.

New South Beach Day

Yesterday, I went to the beach after a very very long while! Okay, I was beyond excited. I just felt like I haven't been to the beach and I haven't seen my friends in ages (though I just saw them like 3 days ago). haha!

Here's a snippet of the beach day:

Ken being buried in the sand. This is the most complete photo of us. I am not in the photo, I was taking it.

I totally enjoyed hanging out with these people in the beach (not like I don't enjoy their company outside the beach lol). After which I went to a friend's house just to hang out with some friends. We played Pictionary Man. FUN is an understatement for this game, especially when all players are really getting into it. I will definitely miss these people when I go away for 2 months. They make me love Sydney more than ever. I actually think that they are the only beautiful things in Sydney (knowing that I really did not prefer to be here right now haha).

The boys team playing. Well they tried, but lost. HAHA

Mr. Pictionary Man

I'm thinking of buying a Pictionary Man for my family to add to our games collection. Or I shall just ask my dad to buy it from eBay. Seriously, the best way to ask my dad to buy someting is to find it in eBay cause if it is in eBay he instantly likes it. He is really really REALLY fond of eBay.

I got to talk to a friend about being stupidly in love/like. You know, when you feel "twitterpatted". I just all of a sudden realise, I miss it. I miss those days. And I want to go back to square one just for the kiligs.

Okay, adios! I have major packing to do!

Always Something There to Remind Me

Been feeling lethargic over the past few days. The reason reared its ugly head when I started coughing earlier, as in phlegmy cough. I'd take a raging fever anyday, but not sore throat and a cough. Those things usually last more than a month for me, for some unfair reason.

The house's improving. It's still a tight squeeze everytime you walk around but still, maybe it's one of those things you get use to. Worse case scenario, find other places to crash instead of at home. That's gonna be tricky now that we're in Mandaluyong.

Still haven't found someone willing to swap schedules with me this Saturday. I really don't know how to break it to Allen that he's gonna babysit the troop on his own. lol. But seriously, everyday there's gonna be something that's gonna remind me how sucky my job is.

For example, I just filed my unused VL's on a week that's completely useless to me. I just filed them for the sole reason of filing them, lest the cutoff time comes around and they go to waste. See, that's another idiotic policy here. They don't credit VL's. And they don't care if they have over 300 agents desperately fighting over 15 slots each day. I'm sure the devil who sits on the HR boss chair is laughing his fat ass off every day.

Ending with a bright side, day off's here at last. Dunno how I'm gonna enjoy it though.

KUPKAKE-INATOR

Summer holidays officially started at 11:00 am Sydney time 13 November 2009. FINALLY, a long term breather!

Right after exams, I had lunch with a couple of friends at Hurricane's FOR FREE! These are yet the best ribs I have had. nom nom nom. Afterwards, I went shopping around the city. Okay not shopping, more of stinging. I feel broke cause I haven't worked for 3 weeks. But hey, window shopping is always good. Plus checking out rubbish is always the funniest thing about going shopping anyway. I also went to the night market in Chinatown and got myself adorable necklaces.

Check them out:

aren't they adorable?

The day after that (14th November), was so packed with invites. I wanted to go to all of them but I can't. So I missed out on High-Tea and FilSoc Karaoke. I went to a family friends' Christening. It was fun-- not cause of the christening but because of the company and food! After a long time, I saw and talked and laughed and pigged out with Pia-- probably the one and only person I probably would agree that I look alike with.

Yours truly (left), Pia (right)

FYI, I do look extra white in these photos--probably the palest I have ever been--knowing that I've always been (very very) dark skinned. And this is because I have been PURELY studying for 3 weeks straight with literally no going out. And note the massive PIMPOWLL on my forehead and my ever-so gracious eye bags. It's okay, I am recuperating.

After which I third-wheeled with two of my friends cause my mom refused to wait with me until a dinner birthday I had to go to...

Then, I went to Marsha's 20th birthday party in Outback. Since I ate so much for lunch, I barely had room for dinner. Had ribs (2 days in a row!) and some other yummy entrees. Dinner was fun in many many ways. I chilled at Marsha's along with everyone else. I met a lot of new people. Played one of the best series of Mafia I have ever played before. hahaha! Did lots of other stuff and I won't bore you with details. Too bad, I left the camera with my bros so no photos.

I got home at around 2am, I had no choice as I was only hitching a ride (excuses excuses, I know I wanted to stay that late out haha)! And suprisingly, I DID NOT GET IN TROUBLE! *sings "for the first time"*

and to end this very boring entry, PS's:

P.S. I am going to the beach on Tuesday. Endometrium, why oh why do you have to shed today?!!!

P.P.S. I want that hard-bound Cat in the Hat book. I WANT NEED!

SUPER

I just feel like the most supercalifragilisticexpialidocious woman in the world after sitting 6 exams in a row in a span of a week and a day!

I survived and I must say that I am very very proud of myself. I feel like a superwoman (with super mega dynamic eye bags)!

Not to mention, this marks the end of my undergraduate degree (assuming I pass everything).

Let us all banana dance!

What a fucking day. Will write about it later after work. Just came from a dota game and I have 5 hours of sleep before I go visit the school after many weeks of absence.
